Máighréad Medbh was born in Newcastlewest, Co Limerick, in 1959.
Her collections are The Making of a Pagan (Belfast, Blackstaff Press, 1990); Tenant (The Cliffs of Moher, Salmon Poetry, 1999); and When the Air Inhales You (Galway, Arlen House, 2009).
Well known as a performer of her work, which is also included in ¡Divas! (Arlen House, 2003), she lives in Dublin.
