John Hughes was born in Belfast in 1962.
His collections are The Something in Particular (Loughcrew, Co Meath, The Gallery Press, 1986); Negotiations with the Chill Wind (The Gallery Press, 1991); The Devil Himself (The Gallery Press, 1996); and Fast Forward (Co Down, Lagan Press, 2003).
He lived in New York City for three years, and now lives and works in Belfast.
